Welcome to Homepride! 
Homepride was founded in November, 2004, by Denise Nickerson and Penelope Vermillion. As new residents of the Michiana area, we were struggling to find a place where we belonged. We had noticed the lack of representation of a significant part of the community: the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender members of the community. One day, we happened upon "Another Book Store" (highly recommended), and discovered a place specifically designed for GLBT people. It was there that we decided to start Homepride, as an attempt to supply the GLBT community with "pride wear".
Our mission is to serve this important group of GLBT people, and to provide them with the opportunity (and clothing) to show pride in who they are.
